About Radiant

Radiant Innovation LLC began in 2020 to provide solar-powered solutions for local agriculture and distribution of healthy food through rapidly deployable, off-grid installations. Co-founder Prof. Greg Jackson (Colorado School of Mines) designed a now-patented control and operations strategy to support grid-independence for containerized solar-powered, cold-storage units. With advances in photovoltaics, lithium-ion batteries, and power electronics, the Radiant team saw an opportunity with the novel model-predictive control strategies to develop a reliable off-grid cold-storage solution to not only support food production and distribution, but to provide rapidly deployable solutions for emergency relief, business continuity and remote operations.

We have developed relationships with customers to provide reliable service to support off-grid reliability.  We are working with partners to expand our scope to other regions of the U.S. and internationally.  Since our inception, our leadership team has grown as indicated below and we are continuing to expand our product line which now includes solar-powered trailers for mobile cold storage and/or power.  We recently completed a U.S. Dept. of Agriculture R&D program  to further develop our technology for  reliable and safe off-grid, cold-storage for a broader range of climates and applications.
